Judge's Citation: Sigma's Futures Past - If it weren't for the COA nomination, I don't know if I would have ever read this story, as I missed it when it was on the latest page. But I'm glad that it was nominated and I'm glad that I was able to read this gem. I love stories with Buffy (or another Scooby) being higher up within John Connor's team, and this story looks like it will produce that. Great job with Sarah. She is a difficult character to master, and you wrote her well. I would love to see this story continued and hopefully being nominated and winning this award will provide you the inspiration.

Honorable Mentions:
JediButtercup's Hang In There, Slayer - Your depiction of Buffy was wonderful. I find it difficult to find stories where authors are even-handed when it comes to Buffy, but you wrote her like she was (in canon) but with the added twist necessary for the crossover. Great job with using the Reese boys to move the story along. It doesn't surprise me that Derek would want to meet John. And then get jealous of him when he and Buffy found a connection. Wonderful character use. Great job. *hands over honorable mention ribbon*
